It's important to note that many midi loft beds that have desks require a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest looking through our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress

Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for extra peace of mind. Some models come with a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used for sleeping overs, or for adding additional storage space underneath the bed. They can be open or equipped with doors (please look at the product details for more information).

Many midi cabins come with a desk which can be moved between the two upper levels or chests of drawers. This gives children their own space to keep all of their belongings. This also means that they don't have to take up floor space by using bulky shelving or wardrobes.

Some models have gone a step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storage of toys and books.
